Removal and installation of seats and their parts (Skoda Superb B6)

Front seat

1. To remove the front seat (1 on the accompanying illustration) disconnect the negative battery cable, move the seat forward, remove the bolts (2), then move the seat back, remove the bolts (4) and disconnect the electrical wiring connectors under the seat. When installing, tighten the seat mounting bolts to 40 Nm.

Rear seats

3. To remove the rear seat cushion without the ability to fold it down, lift the cushion in the direction of the arrows (And on the accompanying illustration) until the eyelets underneath are released, then push the cushion back and forth (B). If applicable, disconnect the seat heating connectors. When installing, push the cushion back and down until the eyelets engage the plastic bushings.



4. To remove the folding rear seat cushion (see accompanying illustration) fold it back, disconnect the connectors (if available), press the wire frame in the direction of the arrows and remove it from the lugs.



5. To remove the rear seat back, remove the center seat belt retractor, unhook both bracket halves and turn them over. Remove the bolt (2 on the accompanying illustration) and remove the clamp (1). Unhook the backrest from the central position in the direction of the arrow (A), disconnect the seat heating connectors (if available) and remove the backrest in the direction of the arrow (B).





6. Central rear armrest (1 on the accompanying illustration) fastened with two screws (2) with a force of 9 Nm.
