1. Start the engine and let it idle.
Warning! Exhaust fumes are toxic! Their poisoning occurs imperceptibly, so start the engine in the fresh air or be sure to open the garage door before starting.
2. Plug the outlet pipe opening with a rag, for example, and inspect the entire system.
3. Leakage of gases can be felt immediately: run your hand over the places of possible leakage without touching the nodes.
4. Inspect the exhaust system suspension pads. Replace torn, cracked or loose cushions.
5. After checking, do not forget to remove the plug from the exhaust pipe hole.
Attention! Allow the exhaust system to cool before repairing as the exhaust system becomes very hot when the engine is running.
