Disconnecting the drive cables from the gear levers type 02T
1 - wrench; 2 - pliers; 3 – a cable of inclusion of transfers; 4 – a cable of a choice of transfers; 5 - ball pin
1. Remove the battery and its mounting bracket.
2. Disconnect both cables 3 and 4 from the levers on the gearbox. To do this, using a wrench 1 as a lever and placing pliers 2 under it as a support, remove the ends of the cables from the ball pins 5 of the levers.
3. Remove three screws 1 (see fig. Type 002 Gearbox Cable Bracket Mounts) fastening the bracket 2 cables to the gearbox.
4. Remove the shift lever boot (see subsection 7.1.2.4).
5. Carefully prying with a screwdriver, remove the lining 5 (see fig. Details of fastening of a cover of the gear lever) floor console.
6. Turn away two nuts 1 forward fastening of the case of the mechanism 2 gear change (see subsection 7.1.2.5).
7. Loosen eight nuts 6 (see fig. Silencer front pipe coupling on models with 02T gearbox) fasteners and remove the cross member 7.
8. Remove the oxygen sensor wire from the holder 5 (lambda probe).
9. Unscrew the two fastening screws and remove the protective cover 10 of the lambda probe block.
10. After loosening the tightening bolts 3 of the collars of fastening the connecting sleeve 2, disconnect the front pipe 1 from the resonator 4 of the exhaust system.
11. Disconnect the resonator from the pillow 8 of the suspension mount.
12. Disconnect the front pipe 17 (see fig. Engine Exhaust System 1.0L 37kW and 1.4L 50kW) from pillows 8.
13. Remove heat shield 9 (see fig. Silencer front pipe coupling on models with 02T gearbox).
14. Remove bolt 16 (see fig. Details of the gear shift mechanism) fastening the housing 14 of the gear change mechanism and remove the gear change drive from the vehicle.
15. Replace damaged or heavily compressed sealing gasket 11. Gasket 11, made with an adhesive layer, is glued to the gear shift housing.
16. Install the gearshift drive in reverse order. Before connecting the cables to the levers, apply a thin layer of grease to the bushings 2 (see subsection 7.1.2.5) tips without getting grease on the tip seal. After installation, adjust the gearshift drive.
