2. Carefully pry up the plastic wedge #3409 and remove the cover (1 in the illustrations) center console, unscrew the screws, pull out the climate control panel with the control unit and disconnect its electrical wiring connectors.
3. When installing, tighten the screws with a torque of 1.5 Nm. If a new panel with a control unit is installed, connect the diagnostic tool (see Chapter 5) and execute the function "Initiate basic setting", and if after replacement the "AC" key does not work, perform the function "AC compressor inlet".
