Removal the audio/navigation system unit (Skoda Yeti 5L)

Note: The description is given using the "Swing" audio block as an example.


1. Remove any discs from the audio unit, turn it off and remove the key from the ignition.

2. Using a plastic wedge, remove the frame of the audio unit and the climate control panel.

3. Carefully release the top cover (3 in the illustration) audio unit, unscrew the screws (2) and pull the audio unit (1) out of the center console.

4. Squeeze the connector lock (see illustration 19.4a), open the holder (see illustration 19.4b) and disconnect the connector.

5. Disconnect the antenna connector (see illustration) and remove the audio unit.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order. After installing the new audio unit, enter the security code.
