Note. Before removing the head module, you must remove the CD-ROM from it, if installed.
Removing
1. Turn off the audio system module and all power consumers. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. Using a special tool (3409), disconnect carefully and remove the decorative frame of the head unit of the audio system (1), as shown in the figure below.
Radio Swing
3. Using a special tool (3409), disconnect the upper part and remove the decorative panel of the head unit trim of the audio system (1), as shown in the figure below.
4. Unscrew the fastening screws (arrows) and pulling towards you, remove the audio head module from the dashboard, as shown in the figure below. The tightening torque of the fastening screws during installation is 1.5 Nm.
For all modifications
5. Compress connector grips (arrows), as shown in the figure below.
6. Open the clamp clamp (arrow) and disconnect the wiring harness connector as shown in the figure below.
Radio Blues
7. Unlock the grip on the antenna connector (arrow), then disconnect the wiring harness connector as shown in the figure below.
Radio Swing
8. Unlock the grip on the antenna connector (arrow), then disconnect the wiring harness connector as shown in the figure below.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note. If the audio system module has been replaced with a new one, the security code must be entered.
