2. Switch off the ignition and remove the transmission control lever cover (see chapter 6 or 7).
3. Check the bolts (1 in illustration 13.1) and remove the niche (2). Remove both side trims (3 and 15).
4. Remove the bolts (1 in illustration 13.1), remove the rear ashtray (10) and disconnect the connector for its illumination or the connector for the rear seat heating switches (if available).
5. Remove the deflectors (9 in illustration 13.1), as described in Chapter 3, unscrew the bolts (12) and remove the rear support (11).

6. Set the parking brake, pull the center console up and disconnect the connectors of the cigarette lighter, keyless entry switch and AUX socket.
