Installation and removal of the interior rearview mirror

The interior rearview mirror is mounted on a bracket glued to the inside surface of the windshield. (It is already a part of the windshield glass at the supplier – the glass manufacturer.) The mirror can be mounted on the bracket by applying it and turning it 90°. In the event of a collision, the mirror breaks out of the bracket relatively easily, which also prevents injuries.
The plastic mirror cover is sufficiently rigid and does not shake while driving.
If a mirror breaks, it must be replaced entirely. The mirror glass itself cannot be replaced.
