Removal and installation interior rear view mirror (Skoda Superb B6)

1. To remove the rear view mirror (2 on the accompanying illustration) without a rain sensor, turn it in the direction of the arrow (A) and remove it from the retaining plate (1). Installation is carried out in the reverse order.



2. To remove the rear view mirror with rain sensor, separate the halves from each other (1 and 3 in the accompanying illustration) and remove them, then pull the support (5) with the mirror (2) down from the retaining plate (8) and disconnect the connectors (4 and 6) of the rain sensor (7).

Note: If the rain sensor is removed from the retaining plate (for example, when replacing a windshield), it can be reinstalled later, provided that it has been stored in a dust-free environment and the silicone pad is not contaminated.
