Car wash
Wash your car in the usual way.
In the following cases, peeling of the paintwork or corrosion of the body and parts may be observed. Wash your car immediately.
Hit on the body of sea water.
Driving on roads covered with reagents.
Contamination with tar oil, bird droppings or stuck insects.
Smoke, coal dust, rust or chemicals.
Dirt on the car.
Washing by hand
Wash in the shade after the body has cooled down.
Attention. Be careful not to injure your hands when washing the underbody and chassis.
1. Remove loose dirt with water from a hose. Wash off dirt and salt deposits from the bottom and hard-to-reach surfaces of the wheels.
2. The car is washed with a neutral detergent. The preparation of the solution is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Dip a soft cloth into the detergent. Don't put in too much effort. Remove dirt with detergent and water. Plastic parts are subject to wear when using organic materials. If they come into contact with the solution, dry them with a cloth and check for damage.
Attention. Do not damage the wheel covers by applying excessive force. The hubcaps can come off the wheels while driving and cause an accident.
Light-alloy wheels: wash only with a neutral detergent.
Plastic bumper: wash carefully. Do not use abrasive detergent. The front of the bumper is soft.
Road tar: wash off with a detergent that does not damage the paintwork.
Attention. Do not use organic matter (gasoline, kerosene or super thinner), as this may result in poisoning or property damage.
3. After the soapy water dries, streaks remain on the machine. Rinse with warm soapy water with clean water.
4. To avoid leaving streaks, dry the vehicle with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use too much pressure to avoid damaging the paintwork.
Automatic car wash
You can resort to an automatic car wash. However, it must be taken into account that some types of brushes and washing programs lead to damage to the coating. Scratches reduce the durability and gloss effect of the paintwork, especially in rich colors.
Attention. Remove the antenna before taking the car to an automatic car wash.
Wax application
Polishing and waxing keep the paintwork bright and clean. Wax monthly or if moisture resistance is poor.
1. Clean and dry the car before waxing.
2. Use a high quality polish or wax. If the polishing compound has worn out, apply another wax coat. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Both chrome parts and paintwork are polished and waxed.
3. If over a large area the water does not form drops and does not drain, waxing is required.
Attention. If the vehicle is repainted, it is recommended to remove the plastic bumper before placing the vehicle in the paint and wax booth where high temperatures are generated. Otherwise, it will be damaged by high temperature.
Quick dry paint
Quick-drying paint is used to repair stains and scratches. Apply quick-drying paint as soon as damage is discovered or before corrosion occurs. For best results, apply paint with a paint brush. To keep the applied quick-dry paint from being visible, apply it only to the area where the paint has peeled off.
Use the minimum amount of paint and do not apply it to areas adjacent to a stain or crack.
