Wait until the engine has cooled down.
Place a rag on the cap of the coolant expansion tank and carefully remove the cap.
Add coolant.
Screw in the locking plug until you hear a click.
The coolant that is added must meet certain specifications. If, in case of emergency, the required antifreeze is not at your disposal, then do not add any additive. In this case, add only water and then restore the correct proportion of water and antifreeze as soon as possible at a specialized workshop.
Use new coolant to top up.
Do not overfill fluid "max".
Attention.
- The cooling system is under pressure! Do not open the cap of the coolant expansion tank when the engine is hot - risk of burns!
- Antifreeze and therefore all coolant are harmful to health. Avoid any contact with coolant. Coolant fumes are also harmful to health. Therefore, always store antifreeze in the original containers in a safe place, especially out of the reach of children - risk of poisoning!
- If fluid gets into eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical attention immediately.
- Also, if coolant enters the digestive tract, consult a doctor immediately.
