Checking the brake fluid level

The hydraulic brake fluid reservoir is located on the left side of the engine compartment. In right-hand drive vehicles, the reservoir is located on the opposite side of the engine compartment.

Turn off the engine.

Open the engine hood.

Check the brake fluid level on the reservoir. The level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks.

A slight decrease in the fluid level is observed during vehicle movement due to wear and automatic adjustment of the brake pads, which is quite normal.

If the fluid level drops significantly within a short period of time or falls below the "MIN" mark, this may indicate a leak in the brake system. Too low a brake fluid level is indicated by the indicator lighting up . In this case, stop immediately and do not continue driving the car! Contact professionals for help.

Attention.
  • If the fluid level drops below the "MIN" mark, do not continue driving the vehicle - risk of accident!
  • Seek professional help.
