Models with manual transmission have three pedals (from left to right): clutch pedal, brake pedal and accelerator pad ("gas"). On models with DSG, there is no clutch pedal.
Control and free movement of the pedals should not be interfered with by foreign objects and mats. Make sure that no loose objects are left on the floor, do not allow the transportation of loose pets. Use only such mats that do not interfere with control of the pedals and are securely fixed against slipping.
An increase in brake pedal travel indicates a leak in the brake hydraulic system.
