Removal and installation of engine management system components (Skoda Superb B6)

1. The location of the sensors and other parts of the engine control system is indicated in illustrations 1.1 a-g and 1.2a-b of Chapter 4. In addition, the sensors belonging to the ignition system are shown in Figure 7.1a.

2. To remove the sensor, in most cases, you should disconnect its electrical wiring connector and remove the sensor fastener, or unscrew the sensor itself. A description of the removal/installation of the SMR and SKR sensors is given in Chapter 2, and the description of the removal/installation of the engine cooling system sensors is given in Chapter 3.
