Front seat belts
1. The installation details of the front seat belts are shown in the illustration.
20.1. Front seat belt installation details 1. Height adjustment unit; 2. Bolt, 22 Nm; 3. Upper anchor; 4, 8, 10, 12. Bolt, 35 Nm; 5. Guide, secured with bolt 6; 6. Bolt, 4.5 Nm; 7. Belt lock; 9. Return mechanism with emergency tensioner; 11. Lower anchor, secured with bolt 12
2. To remove the unit (1 in illustration 20.1) to adjust the height, remove the upper trim of the B-pillar (see Section 17), unscrew the bolt (4), remove the upper anchor (3) and unscrew the bolt (2).
3. To remove the lock (7 in illustration 20.1) front seat belt remove the front seat (see Section 19) and unscrew the bolts (8). If necessary, disconnect the seat belt sensor connector.
4. To remove the return mechanism (9 in illustration 20.1) disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the upper and lower C-pillar trim panels (see Section 17), remove the upper and lower anchors (3 and 11), disconnect the connector of the emergency tensioner squib and unscrew the bolt (10). Unscrewing the bolt causes the return mechanism to lock, and when the bolt is tightened, the lock is released.
Rear seat belts
5. The installation details of the rear seat belts are shown in the illustration.

6. To remove the return mechanism (1 in illustration 20.5) side belt, remove the upper and lower anchors (3 and 12), and then unscrew the bolt (2).
7. To remove the top anchor (3 in illustration 20.5) remove the side trim of the luggage compartment (see Section 17) and unscrew the bolt (4).
8. To remove the return mechanism (8 in illustration 20.5) remove the ceiling trim (see Section 16) and unscrew the bolt (9).
9. To remove the belt buckle (10 in illustration 20.5) fold back the rear seat and remove the bolt (11).

10. To remove the lower anchor (12 in illustration 20.5) fold back the rear seat, partially lift the floor covering under the seats and remove the bolt (13).
