The front and rear side seat belts are inertia-reel, but the middle passenger seat belt in the rear seat is non-inertia-reel. The front seat belts are equipped with pre-tensioning devices to prevent the belts from tightening in the event of a severe frontal impact. In other cases, the device does not work.
Please note! The seat belt pretensioner has a 15-year warranty. After this period, the seat belts must be replaced.
Caution! The belt pre-tensioner operates only once. After this, the seat belts must be replaced.
Check the condition of the belts regularly. If the belts are frayed, torn, or otherwise damaged, be sure to replace them. If the belts become dirty, wash them with a mild soap solution. Do not iron belts under any circumstances.
Caution! Have belts replaced only by authorized service centers.
Caution! Do not fasten a seat belt on a child sitting on the rear passenger's lap.
Caution! Be sure to replace belts that have been subjected to critical stress as a result of a traffic accident.
1. To fasten the belt, pull it out smoothly and insert the tongue into the buckle 1 until it clicks. At the same time, make sure that the belt does not twist. The top branch of the 2nd belt should pass approximately through the middle of the shoulder (under no circumstances through the neck), and the lower 3 - fits tightly around the hip part of the body.
2. To adjust the height of the upper section of the front belt, press the upper fastening 1 and move it in the desired direction (up or down). Then, with a sharp pull, check the fixation in the correct position of the upper seat belt anchor (2 – center pillar of the body; 3 – seat belt).
3. To unfasten the belt, press the lock button. The tongue will be released from the lock under the action of the spring.
4. To unfasten the rear middle passenger seat belt, press button 1 of lock 3 and remove tongue 2.
5. Since the rear middle passenger seat belt is not an inertia reel, it needs to be adjusted. A properly adjusted belt should fit snugly around the passenger. To lengthen the belt, turn its buckle 1 perpendicular to the belt and pull on the long end 2.
6. To shorten the belt, pull the belt by the free end 1. After adjustment, insert the free end of the belt into the plastic loop 2 (3 – lock).
Caution! For safety reasons, the rear middle passenger seat belt, when not in use, must be fastened.
Warning! When fastening your seat belt, be careful not to let hard or breakable objects in your pockets get caught under it, as they could cause injury.
