¹Do not add any additives to the fuel.
²Different models may have different octane ratings on the sticker. If "98/(95)" is indicated, it is recommended to use gasoline with an octane rating of AI98; when using AI95 gasoline, a slight decrease in power may be observed. If "min 95" is indicated, it is recommended to use AI95 gasoline, and the use of AI98 gasoline can help increase power and reduce fuel consumption. In both marking options, AI91 gasoline can be used as an exception, but in this case it is necessary to drive with a minimum load on the engine and at medium crankshaft speed, otherwise the engine may be damaged, and gasoline with an octane number less than AI91 is not allowed to be used even in extreme cases, since this will lead to engine damage. If the sticker says "95/91", it is recommended to use gasoline with an octane rating of AI95; when using AI91 gasoline, a slight decrease in power may be observed, and using AI98 gasoline will not bring either an increase in power or a decrease in fuel consumption. The use of gasoline with an octane rating lower than AI91 is permitted as an exception, but in this case you should drive with minimal load on the engine and at medium crankshaft speed, otherwise the engine may be damaged.
³Do not use additives (gasoline, etc.), increasing the fluidity of diesel fuel. Use of diesel fuel with high sulfur content (more than 2000 parts per million) leads to increased wear of the cylinders and reduces the cleanliness of the pistons. Therefore, when operating a car on such fuel, the engine oil and fuel filter should be changed every 7,500 km (see chapter 3). Thanks to the fuel filter heating, diesel fuel used at temperatures up to -15°C can be used at temperatures up to -25°C. The use of biodiesel (RME) and boiler fuel is not permitted.
4The specification is given according to the VAG standard. If the specified oil is not available, you can only top up with ACEA B3 or ACEA B4 oil once. On models serviced under the program "Long Life Service", it is necessary to use only the specified oils for both filling and topping up. In exceptional cases, you can add no more than 0.5 l of VW 502 00 oil (for petrol models) or VW 505 01 (for diesel models).
5The antifreeze content (by volume) must be no less than 40% and no more than 60%, otherwise either frost resistance or cooling efficiency will be significantly reduced.
6To adjust the coolant level, it is recommended to use antifreeze G13 (purple). Alternatively, you can add antifreeze G12+ (purple, TL VW 774F specification).
7On models with an additional heater, the coolant volume is approximately 1 liter more than indicated.
