2. Place a drip tray under the Haldex coupling to collect the fluid.
3. Unscrew the filler plug (And in illustration 4.41d of Chapter 1), unscrew the drain plug (B) and drain the Haldex coupling fluid. Tighten the new plug with a new seal to 30 Nm.
4. Unscrew the bolt (see illustration) on the front bracket of the rear main gear by about 5 turns and lower it a little.
10.4. Bolt on the front bracket of the rear main gear
5. Disconnect the connector (1 in illustration 9.3) the pump wiring on the J492 block and release the wiring from the holders (see illustration).
10.5. Wiring holders
6. Remove the bolts (1 in the illustration) and carefully pull the pump (2) out of the Haldex coupling in the direction of the arrow, guiding the wiring (3).
10.6. Bolts (1) for fastening the pump "V181"
7. Replace the seals (11 in illustration 11.1) of the pump, lightly lubricating them with Haldex coupling fluid before installation. Tighten the pump mounting bolts with a force of 6 Nm.
8. Finally, fill the Haldex coupling with working fluid (see Section 4 Chapter 1).
