2. Details of installation of soundproofing panels under the engine compartment are shown in the illustrations. To soundproof the removal, unscrew the bolts that secure it. When installing, tighten the side bolts to 2 Nm and the rear bolts to (if available) - with a force of 6 Nm.

3. The details of installing the underbody covers are shown in the illustration. Before removing the casing (1), it is necessary to remove the casing (3). When installing, tighten the fasteners with a force of 2 Nm.

4. To remove the windshield fairing (1 in the illustration) remove the windshield wipers (see Chapter 12), pull out the seal (2), pull back the fairing (1) and disconnect the washer fluid supply hoses and the heated washer fluid supply nozzle connectors from it.

5. To remove the molding (3 or 4 in the illustration) heat it with a heat gun to 100°C, separate it from the doors (2 or 1) and remove the remaining glue with D002 00010. Before installation, clean the door with D009 40104, remove the protective tape from the new molding and glue it at a temperature of 20-40°C. In this case, the distances (a and b) should be 3.41 and 1.41 mm±0.5 mm, respectively.

6. The details of installing the threshold trim are shown in the illustration. To remove the cover, unscrew the bolts (5) and unhook the cover. When removed, the overlay is damaged, so its reuse is not permitted.

8. The installation details of the outer D-pillar trim are shown in the illustration. To remove the trim, remove the rear combination light (see Chapter 12), unscrew the bolts (4), press the cover down (arrow A) by about 30 mm, and then unhook it in the direction of the arrow (B). The cover is damaged when removed, so it cannot be reused.
