Note: When replacing bulbs, follow the instructions given before the subsection "Replacing headlight bulbs" Section 5.
1. The design of the rear view mirrors is specified in Chapter 11.
2. To remove the rear combination light, open the luggage compartment and unscrew the bolts (1 in the illustration), pull the light (2) out of the holders (3) in the direction of the arrow and disconnect the connector (4). Note: The bolts can be unscrewed using the wrench included in the on-board tool kit (see Introduction). To disconnect the connector, you need to squeeze its latches.

3. To remove the combination chuck (1 in the illustration) remove the rear light, unscrew the screw (2) and unhook the socket in the places indicated by the arrows.

4. To remove the rear combination light bulb (see illustration) press it lightly and turn it counterclockwise at the same time.

5. To remove the license plate light, unscrew the screws that secure it (see illustration 6.5a). If necessary, you can bend the contacts after this (see illustration 6.5b) and remove the lamp.

6. To remove the high level brake light, remove the upper tailgate trim panel (see Chapter 11), press the clamp tabs (see illustration), pull out the brake light and disconnect its wiring connector. When installing, insert a small screwdriver into the opening to engage the retainer and press it in. The high-level brake light uses LEDs that are not individually replaceable.
