Note: A second mechanic is required to remove and install the mounting frame.
Remove the ceiling trim. Unscrew the screws "9" on the left and right and replace the bracket for the mesh partition "8". Unscrew the screws -6- on the left and right and replace the bracket for the mounting frame "5". Unscrew the hex nuts "4" on the left and right and remove the fastening of the front handles "7". Unscrew the hex nuts "4" on the left and right and remove the fastening of the rear handles "3". Bend down the left and right fastening "2" for the airbag "1" "arrow". Disconnect the drainage hoses from the supports. Disconnect the connector of the wiring harness of the electric motor of the sliding sunroof.
Unscrew screws "2" to the central screws on the right and left.
Note: The second mechanic must hold the frame.
Only after this unscrew the last screws. Remove the mounting frame "1" from the car.
Installation
Raise the mounting frame "1" with the help of a second mechanic in the car. When installing, align the mounting frame "1" with two cylindrical pins (8mm diameter inverted drills) by the centering holes in front and behind the "arrow" and relative to the roof. Screw in the screws "2", but do not tighten. Connect all drainage hoses "3".
Tighten the screws in sequence -1 to 9-. Tighten the remaining screws "arrow". Installation in reverse order.
