Display module/control unit for infotainment system "Blues" and "Swing"
The display module/infotainment control unit form a single unit. Remove any media left in the device.
Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Insert the unlocking devices into the display module openings - see fig. - until the latches are heard to engage. Pull the unlocking devices "arrows" to remove the display module/control unit.
Squeeze the connector clamps "arrows".
Open the locking bracket "arrow" and disconnect the connector. Unlock and disconnect the remaining connectors. Press back the latches on the side and remove the unlocking devices.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: When sliding in the display module/control unit, do not press on the display or control buttons, as this could damage them.
When replacing, perform adaptation and coding of the display module/control unit of the infotainment system.
Infotainment display module "Bolero", "Amundsen" and "Columbus"
Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Insert the unlocking devices into the holes of the display module - see fig. - until the latches are heard to operate. Pull the unlocking devices "arrows" to remove the display module. Unlock and disconnect the connectors. Press the latches back from the side and remove the unlocking devices.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: When sliding in the display module, do not press on the display or control buttons, as this could damage them.
When replacing, adapt the infotainment system display module.
Infotainment system control unit "Bolero", "Amundsen" and "Columbus"
Remove any media left in the infotainment system control unit. Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers.
Cars with production date according to KN 13/2013
Remove the glove box. Reach behind the control unit and unclip the cable ties from the edge of the heater and air conditioning module.
All cars
Insert the release tools into the holes in the control unit - see fig. - until the latches are heard to engage.

Note: Cover the lower edge of the mounting hole with regular adhesive tape to avoid scratching the trim when removing the connectors.
Pull the "arrow" release devices to remove the display module.

Installation
Installation in reverse order. Vehicles with production date according to KN 13.2013: after installation, perform a visual inspection of the air recirculation flap for proper operation.
Caution! After sliding the unit into the mounting hole, be sure to secure the wiring harness with cable ties to the edge of the heater and air conditioning module. If the wiring harness is routed incorrectly, there is a risk of jamming the air recirculation flap of the heater and air conditioning module.
All vehicles: when replacing, perform adaptation and coding of the infotainment system control unit.
