Removal and installation of coolant temperature sensor "G62"



The engine is cold. To release residual pressure in the cooling system, briefly open the cap "arrow" of the expansion tank of the cooling system and screw it back in until it locks. Disconnect the connector from the coolant temperature sensor "G62". Unscrew the screw "1" and remove the coolant temperature sensor "G62" -Pos. 2-.

Note: If the sealing ring "3" with the support ring "4" remains in the cylinder head, remove them with a suitable wire. To prevent coolant leakage, immediately screw a new coolant temperature sensor "GS2" into the hole.

Note: Replace the sealing ring.

Remove the noise-insulating casing. Disconnect connector "2". Remove the mounting bracket "3" and remove the coolant temperature sensor "G83" at the radiator outlet from the pipe.

Installation



Installation in reverse order.

Note: Replace the sealing ring. To avoid coolant loss, immediately insert a new coolant temperature sensor "G83" into the pipe.


Install the front noise insulation casing. Check the coolant level.
