Note.
- When removing the rear suspension beam assembly, the right silent block mounting bracket must be removed together with the beam.
- After replacing the silent blocks of the rear beam, it is necessary to check the installation of the rear wheels and adjust them if necessary.
Removal
1. Release the parking brake completely.
2. Remove the armrest assembly (see the corresponding section in the chapter Body).
3. Press the brake pedal and install a special device to lock the brake pedal in this position.
4. Loosen the adjusting nut (3) and disconnect the parking brake cables (1) from the equalizer (2), as shown in the figure below.
5. Remove the rear wheels.

6. Disconnect the parking brake cables from the holders (arrow B) as shown in the figure below.
7. Push the parking brake cable (2) in the direction of arrow A through the guide tube (1), as shown in the figure below.

8. Unscrew the screw securing the rear wheel speed sensor, remove the sensor and disconnect its wiring harness from the holders.
9. Remove the rear suspension spring (see the relevant section in this chapter).
10. Remove the plugs of the service holes in the body bottom side members. Pull the mounting tape through these holes.
11. Secure the vehicle to the lift supports on both sides using mounting straps, as shown in the figure below.
Caution: If the vehicle is not secured to the lift supports, the entire vehicle may roll over after the rear suspension beam is disconnected.

12. Disconnect the retainer (arrow B) and release the brake hydraulic hose (arrow A) from the mounting bracket, as shown in the figure below.
13. Release the brake hose (1) from the mounting bracket as shown in the figure below.

14. Disconnect the retainer (arrow B), then release the right brake pipe (arrow A), as shown in the figure below.

16. Place a special hydraulic jack with a support under the rear suspension beam. Place a wooden block (A) on the support, as shown in the figure below.
17. Support the rear suspension beam using a hydraulic jack.
18. Secure the rear suspension beam to the hydraulic jack support using mounting straps.
19. Unscrew the bolts securing the rear suspension beam to the support brackets on the body (arrows), as shown in the figure below.
Note: You will need an assistant to perform this operation.

20. Loosen the nuts securing the mounting bolts (1) of the rear suspension beam, as shown in the figure below.

21. Unscrew the bolts securing the right support of the rear suspension beam to the vehicle body (2), as shown in the figure below.
Note: Before removing the bolts securing the right rear suspension beam support, it is necessary to mark the location of this support on the vehicle body.
22. Unscrew the bolt (1) securing the rear suspension beam to the left support on the vehicle body, as shown in the figure below.

23. Carefully lower the special hydraulic jack together with the rear suspension beam so as not to damage the brake hydraulic lines.

Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Before installing the rear suspension beam, apply a special lubricant to the working surfaces of the silent block.

Install the rear suspension beam support bracket onto the beam eye.
Install new bolts (1) securing the rear suspension beam to the supports on the inside of the vehicle.
Carefully lift the rear suspension beam and move it towards the body so that the holes in the silent block of the rear beam and its support align.
Check and make sure that the right support of the rear suspension beam is installed according to the marks applied to the body during dismantling.
Install and tighten new bolts (2) securing the right rear suspension beam support to the body as shown in the figure below. Tighten the bolts to the specified tightening torque.

Install a new bolt securing the rear suspension beam to the vehicle body on the left side.
Screw new fastening nuts onto the bolts securing the rear beam to the supports. Do not tighten the fastening nuts!
Install the shock absorber mounting bolts to the rear suspension beam. Do not tighten the shock absorber mounting bolts!
Install rear suspension springs (see the relevant section in this chapter).
Load the rear suspension (in accordance with the car on the surface). Tighten the bolts securing the rear suspension beam to the body supports and the bolts securing the rear shock absorbers to the beam to the required tightening torque.
Install and secure the parking brake cables.
Connect the brake hoses.
Install new brake hose and pipe clamps.
Remove the special device for fixing the brake pedal in the pressed position.
Bleed the hydraulic brake system.
Install the parking brake cable.
Install the rear wheel speed sensor.
Install the rear wheels, then tighten the rear wheel mounting bolts.
