Contents: Removal ⬇ Installation ⬇
Note: It is not recommended for a car enthusiast to perform this work, as the rear wheel position adjustment will be disturbed, and this cannot be restored without special tools. If the brackets have been disturbed, they can be removed separately, and their previous position can be determined by the axle and marks made before removal. If this method is used, install axle supports under the car body, then unscrew one axle joint and remove the bracket (as described below). Once the first bracket is in place, repeat the procedure on the other end of the axle.
Removal
1. Remove the torsion beam axle (Chapter 11).
2. Before unscrewing the bracket, use a hard pencil or marker to mark its position on the bottom (outline the bracket as accurately as possible) (see photo).

Installation
3. When installing, accurately align the bracket with the marks made before removal, then tighten the mounting bolts with the tightening force specified Specifications.
4. Install the torsion beam axle (Chapter 11).
5. Have the front and rear wheel alignment checked by a Skoda dealer as soon as possible.
