Refueling a car (Skoda Fabia 6Y)

The fuel filler flap is located on the right rear fender.

Caution! If fuel gets on body parts, immediately wipe it off with a clean cloth.


Do not smoke or use open flames while refueling.

Models with a lockable hatch



1. To open the flap from inside the cabin, pull lever 3 upward (see figure Location of the trunk lid and fuel filler flap lock actuator levers) hatch lock drive.

2. Open the 2nd hatch cover completely and unscrew the 1st fuel tank cap.

3. When refueling, the plug can be placed on the filler cap.

4. After filling, screw the cap on until it clicks. The plug is equipped with a torque limiter, so it will spin after clicking.

5. Close the lid of the 2nd hatch.

Models with lockable fuel filler cap



1. Open the hatch cover.

2. Open the lid lock by turning the key to the left.

3. Unscrew the fuel tank cap and remove it together with the key.

4. When refueling, the plug can be placed on the filler cap.

5. After filling, tighten the cap until it clicks. The plug is equipped with a torque limiter, so it will spin after clicking.



6. Close the plug lock by turning the key to the right.

7. Don't forget to close the fuel filler cap.
