1. The brake master cylinder and reservoir are mounted on the front of the brake booster unit in the engine compartment. Maximum and minimum level marks are located on the side of the reservoir and the fluid level should always be maintained between these marks.

2. If refilling is necessary, first wipe the area around the filler cap. When adding fluid, pour it carefully to avoid spilling it on the painted surface. Use only the specified Specifications liquid, otherwise when mixing liquids of different types the system may fail (see illustration).

2. If refilling is necessary, first wipe the area…

Warning: Brake fluid can be harmful to your eyes and the painted surfaces of your car, so be extremely careful when handling it. Do not use fluid that has been open for some time, as it will absorb moisture from the air, which can cause a loss of braking efficiency.

3. When adding liquid, it is recommended to check how dirty the tank is.

4. After filling the liquid to the proper level, install the cap securely.

5. The fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir will drop slightly as the brake pads wear. If additional fluid is required, this indicates a leak somewhere in the system that should be identified and repaired immediately.
