Removal
1. Remove the battery (for more details, see the relevant section in the chapter Engine electrical equipment).
2. Remove the mounting screws (arrows) of the air intake and intake manifold on the turbocharger, as shown in the figure below.
3. Disconnect the intake hose (1) shown in the figure below from the air intake sleeve.
4. Unscrew the fastening screw (2) shown in the figure below and remove the air filter housing from the trunnions in an upward direction.
Installation
1. Install the air filter housing on top of the bearing journals.
2. Tighten the fastening screw (2) to a tightening torque of 8 Nm, as shown in the figure below.
3. Connect the intake hose (1) shown in the figure below to the air intake sleeve.
4. Install and tighten the air intake and intake manifold mounting screws (arrows) onto the turbocharger as shown in the figure below.
5. Install the battery (for more details, see the relevant section in the chapter Engine electrical equipment).
