Checking the transmission oil level (02R) (Skoda Rapid NH1)

1. Remove the lower engine cover (see the corresponding section in the chapter Body).

2. To check the transmission oil level, unscrew the screw plug (arrow) shown in the figure below.

The oil level is correct when the gearbox is filled up to the bottom edge of the oil filler hole.

3. Screw in the oil filler plug and tighten it to the appropriate tightening torque.

When refilling, the following instructions must be observed:

To check the transmission oil level, unscrew the threaded plug (arrow).

Fill the transmission with transmission oil up to the lower edge of the oil filler hole.

Screw in the threaded plug (arrow).

Start the engine, engage gear and crank the gearbox for about 2 minutes.

After stopping the engine, unscrew the threaded plug (arrow) and add transmission oil again up to the lower edge of the oil filler hole.

After screwing in the oil filler plug (arrow), tighten it to the appropriate tightening torque.
