Removal and installation of ceiling trim and parts located on it (Skoda Superb B6)

1. To remove the sun visor (4 on the accompanying illustration) remove it from the holder (1), pry off the plug (6) with a thin screwdriver, unscrew the bolt (5), pull out the holder (7) of the visor and remove the visor. If necessary, remove the trim (2), unscrew the bolts (3) and remove the holder (1). When installing, tighten the bolts (3 and 5) with a force of 2 Nm.



2. To remove the glasses case (1 on the accompanying illustration) open it and release it from the holders in a downward direction.



3. To remove the handrail (4 on the accompanying illustration) fold it down, pry off the plugs (1 and 3) with a thin screwdriver (2) and remove the handrail from the openings in the body.

4. To remove the headlining trim, remove the upper trim portions of all body pillars (see Section 17), ceiling lamp (see Chapter 12), side trim panels of the luggage compartment (see Section 17), as well as parts, the removal of which is described in paragraphs 1-3. Remove the fasteners at the rear of the ceiling, fold the seats back and, with the help of an assistant, remove the ceiling trim down and back.
