Removal and installation the rear window wiper motor and lever (Skoda Yeti 5L)

1. Open the lid, remove the nut (arrow on the illustration) and remove the lever by rocking it slightly. If you cannot remove the lever, remove the injector (see Section 12) and use a puller.



2. After removing the lever, remove the lower tailgate trim panel (see Chapter 11), disconnect the connector (1 in the illustration), disconnect the hose (2) from the electric motor and unscrew the bolts (arrows) and remove the electric motor.



3. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Make sure the seal is correctly positioned in the hole in the rear window. After installation, adjust the parking position of the lever (see Section 7 Chapter 1). Tighten the lever mounting nut with a force of 12 Nm, and the electric motor mounting bolts with a force of 7 Nm.
