Brake linings of the rear wheel drum brake mechanism (Skoda Octavia 1U)

1. Check the thickness of the brake linings through the inspection hole in the sheet steel of the brake caliper.



2. The wear limit of the brake pads is 2.2 mm without a support shoe. In case of wear, it is absolutely necessary to change the brake pads for the entire bridge (repair operation).

Caution: Avoid contamination of the linings with brake fluid or grease.
