Important: Before removing the wheel brake cylinder, rear axle brake mechanism, or disconnecting the brake line from the wheel brake cylinder, it is necessary to secure the brake pedal with a spacer bar to hold the brake pedal. The brake line pipe screws should always be tightened to 14 Nm. After completing work on the rear wheel brake mechanism: Release the parking brake control lever; press the brake pedal firmly several times.

Removal



Remove the brake pads. Install the brake pedal holding device. Unscrew the brake line. Remove the wheel brake cylinder.

Installation



Screw on the brake line. Remove the brake pedal holding device. Install the brake pads. Bleed the brake system.


  • 7 - Hexagon socket head cap screw, 8 Nm
  • 8 - Finger
  • 9 - Brake caliper (brake mechanism shield)
  • 10 - Plug, remove when checking brake shoe lining wear
  • 11 - Sliding plug, lubricate the mating surfaces with the brake shoe with solid plastic grease
  • 12 - Brake pad, minimum lining thickness without backing pad: 1.5 mm
  • 13 - Wedge extension spring (pins)
  • 14 - Lower return spring
  • 15 - Upper return spring
  • 16 - Brake shoe with parking brake system engagement lever
