Note: If the diagnostic interface of the Gateway "J533" data bus converter is replaced, the "Replace control unit" function of the corresponding control unit must be selected in the "Guided fault finding" or "Guided functions" mode.
Remove the foot airbag. Remove the deflector in the footwell on the driver's side. Press the stopper and disconnect the connector "1". Press the locking tabs "arrows" and remove the control unit "3" from the bracket "2" by moving it downwards.
Installation in reverse order.
