Removal and installation the on-board network control unit «J519» (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Disconnect the battery ground wire. If present, remove the protective trim under the front panel on the left side. Remove the lower part of the trim of the left pillar "A". Disconnect connectors -1, 2, 3-.

Note: After unlocking, pull the middle connector downwards from the guide "6" (if any).

To disconnect the connectors one by one, squeeze the clamps on the connectors "1" and, by folding back the bracket "arrow", disconnect the connector from the control unit.



To make it easier to remove the guide "2" (if any), squeeze the clamps with pliers "arrow A" and, pulling down "arrow B", slide the guide out of the control unit "1".



Unlock the "arrow" fasteners, bend the control unit "4" from the bracket "5" and remove it by moving it downwards and towards you.
