Removal and installation the 12V socket in the luggage compartment
Remove the left side trim of the luggage compartment. Disconnect the electrical connector "1". Unscrew the nut "5". Remove the socket "2" with the cartridge "3" from the trim "4".

Installation in reverse order.
Voltage converter with socket 12V/230V
Note: Before working with sockets, you must familiarize yourself with the description of the operating principle, basic safety rules and the possibilities of using sockets. The housing of the voltage converter with a 12 V/230 V socket contains capacitors that can be charged with residual voltage. There is a risk of accident due to electric shock. The housing of the voltage converter with a 12 V/230 V socket must not be opened under any circumstances. The connector, wires and 230 V socket cannot be repaired. In the event of a connector, wire or socket malfunction, replace the entire assembly. When using a lever tool, seal the places where the lever tool is inserted with regular adhesive tape.
Using wedge "3409" release trim "2" "arrow" from its clips. If present, remove connector from seat heating switches "1".

Unscrew screws "1" (1 Nm) and remove trim "2" "arrow".

Remove the retainer "3". Press the retaining tabs "arrows A" and remove the socket "1" from the bracket "2" "arrow B".

If necessary, unlock the "arrow" clamps and remove the socket bracket "2" from the cover plate-1-.

Unscrew screws "2", slightly lift the voltage converter with socket "1" and pull it out of the central console. Unlock and disconnect the connector.

Installation
Installation in reverse order. Before installing the cover with the socket in the center console, insert the wiring harness into the latch "arrow".
