Before replacing the brushes, it is necessary to set the brush arms to the service position.

Service position for replacing windshield wiper blades

Close the hood. Turn the ignition on and off again. Within 10 seconds, press the steering column switch to position 4 and hold for about 2 seconds. The wiper arms are set to the service position.

Removal the windshield wiper blade

Move the wiper blade away from the glass. Tilt the wiper blade as far as it will go in the direction of the blade — arrow 1. Hold the upper part of the wiper blade and press the lock A. Remove the wiper blade from the blade in the direction of arrow 2.

Installing a Windshield Wiper Blade

To fix it, push the brush all the way in. Check the reliability of the wiper blade fixation. Lower the wiper arm toward the glass. Turn on the ignition and press the windshield wiper switch to position 4. The wiper arms are set to their original position.
