Note.
- Place the vehicle on a level, horizontal surface.
- The door is adjusted properly if it opens and closes without excessive force, and if there is an even gap around its perimeter with the door opening, if the door is not located deep and does not protrude relative to the body panels.
- After completing the work on adjusting the position of the front door on the fastening elements (bolts and screws for fastening) a layer needs to be applied
- anti-corrosion coating.
1. To adjust the position of the front door relative to the door opening, first loosen the bolts and mounting screws (2), (5), (7) and (8). To unscrew the mounting screw (5), remove the lower part of the front pillar trim panel (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. It is necessary to partially remove the instrument panel assembly, but only on the driver's side, to gain access for the mounting bolt (7). On the passenger side, it is necessary to partially remove the glove box (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
3. Loosen the mounting bolts (3) and (9).
4. Adjust the position of the door relative to the door opening of the body.
