Note.
- Park the vehicle on a level, level surface.
- The door is properly adjusted if it opens and closes without undue force, and also if there is a uniform gap along its perimeter with the doorway, if the door is not deep and does not protrude relative to the body panels.
- After performing work on adjusting the position of the front door on the fasteners (mounting bolts and screws) need to apply a layer
- anti-corrosion coating.
1. To adjust the position of the front door relative to the doorway, you must first loosen the bolts and fastening screws (2), (5), (7) And (8). To loosen the fixing screw (5), it is necessary to remove the lower part of the A-pillar trim panel (for details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. It is partially necessary to remove the instrument panel assembly, but only on the driver's side, in order to gain access to the mounting bolt (7). On the passenger side, the glove box must be partially removed (for details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
3. Loosen the fastening bolts (3) And (9).
4. Adjust the location of the door relative to the doorway of the body.
