Adjusting the position of the windshield wiper arms

1. Remove the wiper arms.
2. Turn the wiper on and off until the wiper blades return to their original position.
3. Install the windshield wiper arms with brushes on the shafts so that the brushes 2 (see figure Adjusting the position of the windshield wiper arms) were located opposite the marks 1 on the glass (a deviation of ±5 mm is allowed).
4. Tighten the control arm mounting nuts.
5. Check the operation of the windshield wiper and, if necessary, adjust the position of the arms with the brushes.
The tightening torque for the wiper arm mounting nuts is 20 Nm.
