Removing
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the decorative caps of the nuts securing the windshield wiper arms.
2. Loosen the fastening nuts (arrows) windshield wiper arms as shown in the illustration below.
3. Install special tool (T10369/1) (2) on the wiper arm as shown in the illustration below.
Note. Whenever using the special tool to remove the wiper arm, the thrust part must be used (3), so as not to damage the threaded part of the shaft.
4. Detach the wiper arm (4) from the shaft by turning the special tool screw (1), as shown in the figure below.
Installation
1. If necessary, turn on and off the windshield wiper motor until it is set to its original (parking) position.
2. Install the windshield wiper arm (shorter driver side wiper arm), as described below:
The wiper blade on the driver's side should be 28mm between the top line of the brush and the cross member grille as shown in the picture below.
The passenger side wiper blade should be 27mm apart, between the top line of the brush and the cross member grille, as shown in the illustration below.
3. Carefully tighten the fastening nuts.
4. Check the correct installation of the windshield wiper arms, adjust them again if necessary and tighten the fastening nuts with a tightening torque of 21 Nm.
