Removal
Note: The media control module is located under the glove box on the front passenger side.
1. Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.
2. Remove the additional small luggage container from the dashboard on the front passenger side.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (4) shown in the figure below.
4. Unscrew the fastening screw (1) and unlock the module on the mounting bracket (3) by squeezing the tabs of the grips (arrows), as shown in the figure below. The tightening torque of the fastening screw during installation is 4 Nm.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (2) shown in the figure below.
6. Remove the media control module together with the mounting bracket or press it out and detach it from the bracket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
