The positive wire is red in most cases.
The negative wire is black in most cases.
Warning. A discharged battery can freeze at temperatures just a few degrees below zero. If the battery is frozen, do not start the engine with the battery outside the car - there is a risk of explosion! Also, after defrosting the battery, there is a risk of burns from leaking acid. A frozen battery must be replaced.
Note
- There must be no mutual contact between the two vehicles, otherwise current may flow when the positive terminals are connected.
- The discharged battery must be properly connected to the vehicle's electrical system.
- Turn off your car phone or follow the instructions for using your phone in this case.
