If the engine does not start because the car battery is discharged, then it is possible to use a battery located in another car to start it. For this purpose, auxiliary jumper cables are needed.

The nominal voltage of both batteries must be 12 V. The capacity (Ah) of the battery used to start the engine must not be significantly lower than the capacity of the discharged battery.
