2. Disconnect connector (1) from the coolant fan thermal switch and disconnect the connector (2) on the fan side.
3. Disconnect the coolant hoses from above and below (3) from the radiator fittings.
Note. On vehicles without air conditioning, you cannot replace the radiator yourself without a fan for additional cooling.
4. For vehicles with air conditioning:
- remove the front bumper;
- remove headlights:
- remove the screw (at the top of the fan holder), holding the air conditioner piping pipe holder;
- remove the screws (arrows), remove the fan holder downwards;
Attention. The refrigerant circuit of the air conditioner must not be opened.
Note.
- Do not hang the capacitor on wires.
- The condenser hoses must not be broken.
- unscrew the screws securing the capacitor (arrows);
- remove the screw of the lower condenser pipe holder from the radiator;
- hang or support the capacitor so that it is not damaged when removing the radiator;
- remove the radiator support screws;
- move the radiator towards the engine, remove it downwards (1.2L engine and diesel engines) or pull it up.
5. For vehicles without air conditioning:
- unscrew the supporting screws of the radiator support at the front right and left;
- tilting the radiator slightly back, remove it upwards.
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Note. Replace sealing rings.
7. Pour coolant.
