Drain
Note: The coolant must be drained into a previously prepared clean container.
Attention. When removing the expansion tank cap, be extremely careful, as the liquid in the system is under pressure, which can result in a release of steam, which in turn can lead to injuries and burns. Before unscrewing the expansion tank cap, it must be wrapped in a clean rag.
1. Open the cap of the engine cooling system expansion tank.
2. Remove the soundproofing coating.
3. Place a container under the engine to collect the coolant.
4. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hoses (2) from the coolant recirculation pump (3), as shown in the figure below.
5. Remove the left air duct of the engine intake system.
Caution: Plug the intercooler openings using a clean, lint-free cloth.
6. Loosen the fastening clamp (arrow) shown in the figure below, then disconnect the water pipe from the radiator of the cooling system.
7. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the water hose from the engine oil cooler (arrow), thus draining the remaining coolant, as shown in the figure below.
Filling
Note: Always replace the O-rings after disconnection.
1. Connect the lower water hose to the radiator. Install and tighten the hose clamp (arrow) shown in the figure below.
2. Install the left air intake pipe.
3. Connect the water hoses (2) shown in the figure below to the additional coolant recirculation pump (3). Tighten the hose clamps.
4. Connect the water hose to the engine oil cooler of the engine lubrication system (arrow) as shown in the figure below.
5. Pour fresh coolant into the cooling system through the expansion tank until its level reaches the "max" mark.

6. Turn off the heater and, if installed, the air conditioning system.
7. Start the engine and let it run for three minutes at 2000 rpm, while constantly adding coolant to the expansion tank.
8. Install and tighten the expansion tank cap.
9. Let the engine run at idle speed until the cooling system fan starts.
10. Check the coolant level in the expansion tank again when its cap is closed. If necessary, add coolant to the expansion tank after the engine has cooled down.
When the engine is warmed up to normal operating temperature, the coolant level should be opposite the "max" mark, but if the engine is cooled down, then between the "max" and "min" marks.
