Note: To ensure a sufficiently strong installation in the pedal support bracket, the "F36" clutch pedal switch can be installed only once.


Removal



1. Remove the air duct nozzle into the footwell (see the relevant section in Chapter Heating, ventilation and air conditioning system).

Note: The clutch pedal switch is installed on the side of the front body wall separating the engine compartment from the passenger compartment.


2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the clutch pedal switch "F36".

3. Turn the clutch pedal switch on the pedal support bracket in the direction of the arrow by 45° and remove it from the mount as shown in the figure below.

Installation



1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

The pin -A- of the switch for the clutch pedal cannot be removed

Lubricate the head of the pin (arrow) with grease.

To select the correct consistent lubricant, use the electronic catalog of original spare parts.

It is necessary that the clutch pedal remains in the neutral position at all times during installation of the clutch pedal switch. During the entire installation, only the pin head (arrow) of the clutch pedal switch is allowed to touch the clutch pedal, as shown in the figure below.

The clutch pedal switch is installed on the side of the front wall of the body, separating the engine compartment from the passenger compartment.
