Flywheel and crankshaft seals (Skoda Superb B6)

1. Details of the installation of the flywheel and crankshaft seals are shown in the accompanying illustration.

44.1 Flywheel and crankshaft seal installation details
1 Front oil seal, do not lubricate
2 Front sealing flange
3 Cylinder block with crankshaft
4 Flywheel
5 Bolt, to be replaced, 60 Nm, then tighten to an angle of 90°
6 Intermediate plate
7 Bolt, 15 Nm
8 Rear sealing flange, replaced together with the seal and, if possible, with the rotor of the CMP sensor
9 SCR sensor
10 Bolt, 5 Nm

2. Removal and installation of the flywheel and oil seals/sealing flanges is carried out in the same way as on 2.0 l engines (see Section 37).
