Front seats

The position of the front seats can be adjusted in various ways, adapting them to the body sizes of the driver and passenger. Correct seat adjustment is especially important for:

safe and quick access to controls;
maximum comfort during your trip;
maximum protective effect of seat belts and the Airbag system.

Attention:

Never transport more people than there are seats.

Each passenger must be properly fastened with the seat belt provided in his or her seat. Children must be secured with suitable devices that hold the child in the seat.

The front seats, head restraints and seat belts should be adjusted to suit your height to provide the best protection for you and your passengers.

When driving a car, you should always place your feet in the footwell. Never place them on the dashboard, seats, or windows! This especially applies to the front seat passenger. Otherwise, the risk of injury increases when braking or in the event of a traffic accident. If the Airbag system is activated and the body position in the seat is incorrect, a fatal injury may occur!

It is important that both the driver and front seat passenger remain at least 25 cm away from the steering wheel and therefore the instrument panel at all times. Otherwise, the airbag system may not provide protection; in fact, if deployed, it could be life-threatening! Furthermore, the front seats and headrests must always be properly adjusted for the occupant's height.

Do not place any objects in the footwell as they may end up in the pedal area in the event of a sudden maneuver or braking. This may result in you being unable to depress the clutch, brake, or apply gas.

Manual adjustment of the front seats

Adjusting the longitudinal position of the seat

Pull the lever (A), which is located closer to the inner edge of the seat, in the direction of the arrow (1) upward and move the seat to the desired position.

Release the lever (A) and slide the seat until it locks into place with a distinctive click.

Seat height adjustment

If it is necessary to raise the seat, move the lever (B) upward.

If you need to lower the seat, move the lever (B) downwards.

Seat back tilt adjustment

Unload the seat back (don't lean back on it), rotate the flywheel (C) back and set the desired backrest angle by leaning back or forward.

After releasing the flywheel (C), the backrest will be fixed in the selected position.
