- First install the inner ring (1) on the driven wheel, and then the outer ring (2), as shown in the figure below.
- Press the outer ring onto the cone of the inner ring and measure the gap (a) in 3 places, mutually offset by 120* (between the driven wheel and the outer ring). Mark the average value.
