Disconnecting fuel injection in exceptional cases (Skoda Octavia 1U)

Engine braking

During engine braking, the fuel supply will be disconnected before the programmed engine speed is reached under the following conditions:

• throttle valve closed;
• the coolant temperature is within the operating temperature range;
• the programmed engine speed is exceeded twice.

Engine speed limitation

To prevent engine runaway when the speed exceeds 5000 rpm, smooth adjustment of the injectors begins.
